About Jardin Majorelle

Jardin Majorelle was developed by French painter Jacques Majorelle, who began creating the garden in the 1920s as a botanical sanctuary and artistic environment. Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé acquired the property in 1980 and preserved it from redevelopment. Today the garden combines dense botanical collections, shaded paths and bold architecture colored in the distinctive Majorelle blue, alongside cultural spaces connected with Amazigh art and design.
