About Bahia Palace

Bahia Palace was developed in stages during the second half of the 19th century, first under Si Moussa and later greatly expanded by his son Ba Ahmed, a powerful grand vizier. The complex combines courtyards, gardens, reception rooms and private spaces decorated with zellij, carved and painted wood, stucco and marble. Its variety of rooms and courtyards makes it one of Marrakech’s most rewarding architectural visits.
