About Agafay Desert

Agafay is a rocky desert landscape roughly 30–40 kilometres from Marrakech, offering a very different environment from the city without the long journey to the Sahara. Instead of large sand dunes, visitors find dry rolling hills, stone plains and broad views that become especially atmospheric around sunset. Camps and local operators offer experiences including meals, overnight stays, camel rides, quad biking and other outdoor activities.
