A guided four-wheel-drive trip is an accessible way to appreciate Merzouga’s contrasting desert landscapes, from dark rocky ground to the golden slopes of Erg Chebbi. Follow the driver along permitted desert tracks, pause at scenic points and settle at a suitable location to watch the evening light change across the dunes. Optional cultural stops are dependent on the agreed route and should not be promised for every departure. The basic and standard private options do not include dinner; only the dedicated private dinner package includes a Moroccan meal and mint tea.

Return or dinner, depending on option
Return to Merzouga for basic options. Only the private safari with dinner includes a Moroccan dinner and mint tea; expect 4–5 hours for that package.
